The Sievert Family was visiting the Great Smoky Mountains on vacation and was looking for a photographer to capture an extended family session while everyone was in one place! This lovely family is scattered across the nation, so having everyone together at once was something special, and they wanted to document it.
I absolutely love doing extended family sessions and seeing all the different dynamics. This one was super fun because of all the little kiddos! They were not having it half the time, but nonetheless we prevailed!
During my extended family sessions, I take large group photos as well as individual family groupings (think a super-mini-family-session) and any other grouping you would like! You have me for up to two hours, so whatever floats your boat, I'm game.
Also, is it even a family session if bloopers aren't included?! I've hidden some gems in here for ya!
A huge, huge, thank you to The River Place in Sevierville, TN for letting us rent their property for this session. While the Smokies are beautiful, it's often hard to find a spot inside the park that is large enough for an extended family session; especially one that's safe enough for a bunch of little kiddos. This venue ended up being PERFECT and we got the most glorious, golden light that summer has to offer.
